I have a love/hate relationship with the digital age. I love the convenience, but I hate the 24/7 connectivity. One big plus is the ability to reduce your stuff. I hate stuff. I long ago got rid of my collections of knick-knacks, childhood toys, and so forth. But for the things I can’t bear to get rid of, the photos, CDs, DVDs, books, documents, they’ve been collecting, piling up, in boxes. The digital age has now allowed me to reduce these size of a hard-drive. Over the last 10-years, I have slowly been ‘going digital.’ My goal in the next 12-months is to reduce my life to its most basic, with anything that can, being converted 0s and 1s.
